Epaulet trousers are a true labor of love. As with every item in our in-house collection, they have excellent materials, meticulous craftsmanship, fair pricing, and a well-executed fit. Each pair is hand-assembled with old school construction at a venerable trouser house in New York City
. It's hard to find a good pant and it's difficult to make one - but our production house is more than up to the task. We're confident that these will be some of the best trousers you will ever own.

The "Rudy" is similar to the "Walt" fit, but with more room in the thigh and seat. Typically, if you've got bigger thighs, then you have to choose between (1) pants that are too slim to be comfortable or (2) trousers with wide legs and large leg openings that are too baggy and completely swallow your shoes.
The Rudy fit strikes the perfect balance with a slim waist, a slightly relaxed thigh and seat, and an elegant, graduated taper to a slim leg opening. If you're into things like cycling, competitive rowing, crossfit, or bodybuilding - and you have a hard time finding a trouser that's both comfortable and flattering - then these are the cut for you.

Like the "Walt", the medium rise is comfortable to wear and keeps your shirt tucked in if you want it tucked.
They're beautifully constructed with an inner waist curtain, taped & finished seams, and a split back waistband. These pants are meant to be worn for years, and the split waistband allows your tailor to perfectly take in or let out the waist up to 1.5". The inseam is finished at a plain-bottom 34", but this can be let out another inch if you need it. The fabric
is pure Italian wool flannel.

Wool Flannel
Woven in Italy, our pure wool flannel is extremely soft, warm, and long-wearing. It's a plain weave fabric that's resistant to wind and abrasion. The body is dark charcoal and the surface has small flecks of light grey and black. Wool flannel dates back to the 16th century, and is largely credited to the Welsh.

Measurements
All measurements are shown in inches. Waist is measured with the waistband laid flat and doubled. Thigh is measured from the lowest point of the crotch (laid flat) straight across the thigh. Leg opening is the width of the bottom hem. Rise is measured from the lowest point of the crotch (laid flat) to the top of the waistband.
