This tie is really special! The fabric is a special raw silk, which has a "nubby" and slightly irregular texture. Certain parts are matte, certain parts are shiny. It's incredible in person, and works wonders with a white or light-colored solid shirt. It's texture makes it a great match for Spring/Summer shirts in linen, chambray, or cotton batiste - although it works just as well with our standard Pima cotton shirts. This TBT (to be tied) bowtie is adjustable from 13 3/4" to 18" neck sizes. Learning how to tie one yourself will cost you 15 minutes of frustration, but pay off with a lifetime of style. Our silks are woven and printed in Italy, and all of our cottons are produced in the United States. Intended to compliment our shirts, each tie and bowtie is slim without being "skinny" or trendy.
