   
Ashland by Epaulet is an exclusive capsule collection of shirts made by Pennsylvania's Gitman Brothers Company. Crafted with gorgeous fabrics and meticulous single-needle tailoring, Ashland shirts have a slim cut and our signature lower back darts for a sharp fit. The collection is produced in small batches throughout the year and a few dozen pieces are made per shirt. And it's only available here!
An elegant tartan made up of sky blue and crimson bands with a warm light brown earth-tone ground. The fabric is a middle-weight 100% pima cotton that's very soft and has a brushed finish. The buttondown collar has a slim profile but maintains a perfect "American roll." A left chest pocket has the classic Gitman Brothers v-shaped stitch. The mitered cuffs have a small angular notch detail. Its slim cut flatters the body without being too tight. A mid-length tail looks good tucked or un-tucked. And genuine mother of pearl buttons finish it off.
Measurements and Sizing
Note: All measurements are shown in inches. "Chest" is measured from one seam at the armpit to the other. "Shoulder" is measured from one shoulder seam to the other. "Sleeve" is measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff. "Length" is measured from the base of the collar (where it attaches to the shirt) to the bottom of the tail.
If you're familiar with Gitman Vintage shirts, then our Ashland shirting runs very consistent with most their standard oxfords and chambrays. If you own an Epaulet in-house shirt, then you'll most likely need to size down one for an Ashland piece (ex. get an Ashland medium if you take an Epaulet large).
Fabric Composition
100% Pima Cotton. Also known as “extra-long staple cotton,” Pima is one of the finest shirting fabrics available. Its high thread count yields a garment which is both dramatically softer and stronger than the typical woven shirt. Not only does it feel great and fit properly, but it will keep its shape and vibrance through repeated washing and wearing.
